Hyperactive Monkey Day
I’ve been amazingly productive–the second draft of Defiance is now resting with the editor, and I’m doing cleanup on the 5th Dru book and getting wordcount in on Jill Kismet, flipping back and forth like a hyperactive monkey. Plus I’ve upped my mileage, cleaned the kitchen, and picked up a few things that will make living in this house easier. All before 2pm.
Either I am going to set a new personal record for Most Things Accomplished In Twelve Hours, or I’m going to hit the slump between 3-4PM and suddenly find myself on the couch, drooling, with absolutely no energy left to do anything.
But while I’ve got it, I’m heading for the horizon. And what’s that in my inbox? Oh, look. An invitation to more work.
The Universe is being kind to me today. *snort*
Cover me, I’m going in.

Dear Ms(?) ST. Crow,
I just bought Jealousy, and I have finished the whole book in 6.5 hours.
I just wanted to let you know that I thought it was amazing. You’re like the ultimate-goddess-of-crazy-awesome-jealousy-inspiring-writing-skills.
This book has rocked my socks.
I mean seriously… how often do you get a teen book where the main character gets a male-harem type thing going down???
Dru Andersen is living the teenage dream (except for all of the near-death experiences, wounds, lack of stability and emotional turmoil…)
And if you make Christophe any hotter I might get a massive nosebleed from over exposure to hotness and bleed out in my bedroom. But don’t worry, that sounds like a good way to go : )
And I know that it’s really stupid and selfish of me to ask this, but it’s two o’clock in the morning and I’m feeling bold… And I know that you’ll probably say no anyways and be annoyed that someone asked you something so weird (but if you don’t give it a try you’ll never get anywhere… or so my mother says.)
But… If you ever feel like you have nothing better to do, are bored out of your mind (which probably never happens, you sound like an eternally busy lady), or just plain old feel like indulging an eighteen year old girl who has given up on real guys (too much trouble!) and is completely in love with Ash, I would be greatly obliged.
Either way, thanks for writing such an amazing series.

In agreement with Tegan. I mean, I’ve read Strange Angels and Betrayals, but Jealousy… I re-read awesome books all the time, but, In three days I’ve cracked the cover of Jealousy at least four times. At this point, Dru Anderson is *flinch* higher on my Favorite Peeps to Read About list than Mercy Thompson. And Merce is my usual Go-To Girl.
