Count me as another fan of your writing advice. I like it all–advice for beginners, mid-career, and advanced. It all teaches me things. It never sounds like whining to me. It sounds like “This is something that might come up for you. This is why it’s a problem. This is how I chose to deal with it.” That’s not the same as complaining.

Speaking as someone who wants to be a working writer, I’m thrilled to read about the struggles, hard work, dedication, and effort of another working writer. It inspires me, grounds me, and gives me a kick in the pants when I need it.

Congratulations on the selling Weasel Boy. I’m new enough I’m not familiar with the story, but I’m glad you were able to sell something that meant so much to you.

Congratulations! It would be interesting to hear how different writing a relationship-focused book is from UF.

I enjoy all the Friday posts. Anything repeated deserved to be.

And thank you for the link on content farms. I’d thought about this as a way to make money whilst caregiving, but finally landed work writing copy for our local museum’s exhibits instead.

2k words on bluestone for a pittance. Maybe it’s not that different after all.
