I loved the link about "doing it anyway." It is so true. For years I talked myself out of writing with those kinds of excuses. At some point I realized that I had to start having the confidence to express myself while I "wasn't ready yet" or it would never happen at all. I've recently been pretty derailed by something in my personal life that's making writing painful for me, but I'm writing anyway. I'm a lot happier doing that than I would be if I tried to "wait until I felt better" about the situation before writing again... That really is such a dangerous thought pattern to get into.
