Time To Get Laid Back
I might post tomorrow, I might not. In any case, all the social stuff is done. I miss my sisters already. I’ve had a full house for two days and find myself wondering what I have to cook next and then realizing that it’s back to the normal schedule.
The kids have settled down to watching Marx Brothers movies and I’m considering getting back on the treadmill. A couple days off is a nice, but I need to get back in the swing of things. An odd thing has happened, though, I’m getting wordcount just falling out of my head in dribs and drabbles. Something about cooking just makes the words come faster, no matter if I have to squeeze them in between stirring and roasting. Fortunately all the dinners have gone off smoothly. I won’t be sure how smoothly the writing has gone until I finish this draft.
So, if I don’t see you here on Christmas Eve, have a happy holiday. Regular blogging will definitely resume Monday the 28th. See you ’round, guys.

AMC is having a Three Stooges marathon on New Year’s Eve day starting at 7am.
Won’t say what I first thought I saw with the blog title.
When cooking works, it really works and that’s an awesome thing. I’ve been finding inspiration in a variety of places. Pioneer Woman and her new Tasty Kitchen as well as Smitten Kitchen are all blogs worthy of a check out.

While your visits are wrapping up, I have the three days of driving to north Washington state and back and down into Oregon. I think there’s only a couple more of these ridiculous holiday trips in my future. Taking the man child to visit family will no longer be my responsibility but his. (‘k technically at 20 its his now, but since he’s still living with me while schooling – mine.) Thank the doGs that weather won’t be a factor in this insanity.

Hey, Lilith! Oh…my…God!!! I got Betrayals for Christmas! I just finished it. It was ah-mazing! Can’t wait for Jealousy. When will the cover be released? Just wondering, will we ever find out what Dru’s full name is? Cuz it sounds bad…:) Merry Christmas!!!!
