More Release Madness!

ETA: There’s an interview with Christophe over at LiyanaLand, for all you Christophe fans!

Today I’m over at Bitten By Books to celebrate the release of Betrayals! There’s an interview with me, and I’ll be popping in there to answer questions and comments all day. There’s also a chance to win a $15 Amazon gift certificate. So, come on over and have some fun.

Right now, though, I’ve got to hit the treadmill. I’ve been on the phone all morning, what with one thing and another, and I need to get the daily run out of the way. It’s beyond me why I struggle and suffer and sweat on the treadmill while I could be eating choco, but I guess it will help me live longer so I can eat more choco. Delayed gratification, the hallmark of adulthood.

I just wish gratification wasn’t delayed so long.

you can comfort yourself in the news that Johnny Depp won Sexiest Man Alive for the second time. grin.

“But I’m about to remedy that.”

    *grinning* that sounds delightfully ominous.

I was grinning like an idiot throughout that entire interview. :D

    1) Congrats on the release! I fully expect to see sales figures that trump those of “Going Rogue”. ;-)

    2) I will never cease to be amazed at human ingenuity when it comes to creating items whose sole purpose is to inflict pain. Throughout history, we’ve come up with some truly disturbing instruments. The rack, the iron maiden, the wheel of pain; but all these pale in comparison to the modern champion of sadistic contraptions:

    The Treadmill.

A device who’s sole purpose is to have a person run full-tilt, without going anywhere at all. Furthermore, should fatigue overcome the unwary, this device propels the unfortunate individual backwards, usually feet-first and at a good clip, into the nearest piece of gym equipment or household furniture.
