You're Friday blogs never disappoint. These are the days I prefer to catch up on what you have to give us readers. Thank you for writing. It's no ordinary magic, for sure.

I'm sure you've read the Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman, but your post reminded me of this quote:

You know what happens when you dream of falling? Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.
~ Todd Faber (”Fables and Reflections”) – Sandman Comic.

Take care, dear Lili, and a Happy Friday the 13th to you. :)

You continue to amaze me. I just recently finished the first book I've written that I honestly feel has a good shot at getting published after major revisions. Plus becoming a mother of three this year through the gift of adoption and then getting pregnant immediately after when nothing worked for years previously. You are so strong as a single mother, independent woman, friend, and one of my favorite authors. You may feel that cold water nibbling at you yet even then you're throwing lifelines out to those of us who still feel like we're drowning. I love how you teach us just starting out about the writing but also about the living while writing. When you're having a rougher than usual day remember we're seeing the flaws and still looking up to you. Which is much better than giving you a pedestal to sit on. :)
