Vote Often, And I’m No Prude, But…
Some good news: I’ve been nominated as a 2009 Favorite Paranormal Author of the Year over at Bitten By Books. If you like, pop on over and vote–the poll post is here, and the actual poll is on the right on that page. Go, vote, be merry! I’m honored to have made it to round 2.
I’m also gearing up for the release on November 17 of Betrayals, the second Strange Angels book. Despite what it says on the Amazon page, there is NO pregnancy in this book. I don’t know why Amazon is classifying it like that–there’s two kisses in the book, both kind of…chaste. Which surprises everyone, I’m sure.
On a more personal note, I am doing okay. Thank you for the flood of help and support lately. I am taking things one day (sometimes five minutes) at a time. My friends are closing around me like a big warm protective blanket. I need that right now, and it’s been very humbling and beautiful to see how many people love to help, want to help. Thank you all. I will get through this and feel OK again. It is a huge step up to be able to state that definitively.

Have already cast my vote and am out there campaigning for you! Glad to hear that you’re slowly getting to the point where you know things will be okay again. Sending many hugs your way!

Wow. Good job Amazon.com! Only 2 kisses! Boo! J/k I’m sure they are lovely.
I was at the mall Saturday looking around for flaming dogs. And calculating the distance I’d have to run to the freaking water fountain! That scene traumatized me! In a good way of course!
Looking forward to Betrayals!
I guess I’m not in the loop on what happened but I wish you well. Hugs.

Amazon never fails to amaze me.
Still, I’m checking every few days in the hope my internet bookstore might have some early copies of Betrayals. No such luck though.
Voting on that poll was hard: there were at least 3 authors I love on there!! T_T In the end, I couldn’t resist the call of your name and Patty Briggs’s.
I’m glad to hear things are getting slightly better every day.
If you ever feel the need of one of the absurd links I usually come across, you just ask.

I voted for you but could n`t leave a comment (my 4 year-old daughter and my 1,5 y.o. son started to fight over a toy-car and I had to do some serious lecturing there) which, may be, is a good thing, because I couldn`t see your name standing along with some authors who write shallow para-love stories. Don`t get me wrong, I like love stories) but Your writing is Powerful, the characters are soo realistic, and though I understand it`s fiction the stories you have created stay with me and take a part in my heart.
Not many authors can make me cry. Your books did all right. I was so crushed along with Dante feeling her despair after Jace`s death or Jill`s hard choices. So it`s just funny how they put you, say, and Sparks in the same category))))
I liked Patricia Briggs Series too
but I have to say Your books are so much better!!!
Oh, again, may be it`s wrong to say it like this – I am not a critic or anything but
Honestly YOUR BOOKS Rock! Dante and Jill are so independent, strong, for me they are much more interesting characters than Mercy)))))
P/C I don`t know these affairs about authors rights and if you track the release dates of your books in other countries – just wanted to say that the first two books of Dante are coming out in Russia this week at last! We are going to buy them all!
