You hit the nail on the head in the serendipity line (again I might have you know *lol*)…..that great leap forward thing…..

Oh & you brought a smile to my face when I was thinking of the various traumas Dante & Hunter have (when it’s ‘gotta be’ the author’s trauma too) – how do you cope with those body alterations???

Thanks so much for this! (and the two referenced books as well!) I was wondering if I should even get into the writing books, so the advice was very welcome.

As for your comments on Whose Story Is It, my current novel actually revolves around three main characters (third person POV). What do you think about having more than one heroine at once?

I’ve also heard that before a writer submits to an agent/editor they should have some publishing experience under their belts (such as ezines) before they are taken seriously. Do you find this to be true?

this could actually be applied to almost every form of artistic creation.

It’s a hard thing to let your baby go. Harder still when you KNOW that they’ll be halfway down the street when you think of something to make them even closer to perfect.

Perfection Paralysis.

Springsteen takes 5 years to put out an album. When it comes out, it’s perfect….to us. You can bet he hears “Born to Run” and hears something he wants to change.

I am printing this and hanging it up because you are reminding writers of what they know deep down inside. It’s just that our inner demons try to keep that knowledge from us with their constant barrage of insecurity and self loathing. Now who needs as exorcist? LOL.
