Smart Bitches event in Portland!

Well, Beaverton, anyway. Will I get burned at the stake if I say “close enough”?

I will be attending Candy Tan’s signing in Beaverton on April 15. This hilarious half of the Smart Bitches, Trashy Books team will be reading from (and signing) their newly-published Beyond Heaving Bosoms: The Smart Bitches’ Guide to Romance Novels. This promises to be a truly awesome event! I’ll be bringing my copy (and perhaps body parts) for her to scrawl upon.

    I know this doesn’t follow along the lines of #amazonfail or the signing (which sounds like lots of fun) but I’ve been wanting to ask you for a while so I’m just going to.

    Would you be willing to do another post on music you listen to while writing? (Or even just make a list?) I checked out some of the songs you mentioned that I didn’t have and I am LOVING your musical taste. (Mandalay is now a new personal favorite. Not just because of Japh…not at all!) I just wondered if you had more lyrical delights to proffer. Thanks!

    There shall be no flogging or burning for saying close enough. :D Candy was a “laff riot”. Choose your own mantittie was amazing. As was meeting this UBERCOOL author. Her name was….erm…OH!!! Lilith Saintcrow. That’s who it was. Seriously, thank you so much for allowing me to be a complete dork. My wife and I had a wonderful time chatting. Of course, there will be a wrestling match to get the book back from Kimberly, as she stole it from me this morning. *pout*
