Why Do I Feel So…

So I’ve finished one book, gotten proof pages out of the way, am starting on those short story revisions and have Demon’s Librarian revisions to eyeball…

…why do I feel like I’m not getting anywhere? Why do I feel like an utter failure today?

I got the workout done. I cleaned the kitchen and put a dose of laundry in the washer. I have managed to keep the house spinning like a top and I know what I’m cooking for dinner tonight (fried rice, it’s easy and the Little Prince actually requested it. This does not necessarily mean he will eat it, but at least he asked for it.)

Why do I feel so down?

This calls for strong medicine.

Ahhh. That’s better. Maybe things aren’t so dire after all.

    Apparently this is not a day to get things done. Between reading slcktivist’s review of the Left Behind series, checking my emails and surfing blogs I am now rendered helpless at the sight of Darth dancing to Thriller.

    Nice to see I’m not the only one unmotivated to do anything productive today.

    I’ve not done anything productive in the last 3 days apart from show up at work. I discovered you a bit ago with Steelflower, and then, lo and behold, I found that you were prolific!

    So I read the first Dante Valentine book, and was So Angry when I realized there were more, and the bookstore did not have them and I have to Wait For Delivery. Then I read the first two Jill Kismet books and am sad that I finished them before The Delivery of Dante happened.

    So, thank you. It’s lovely to find an author who writes in a way that encompasses all of my attention. I’ve enjoyed them.

    I do blame you for the kitchen, though.

    ok, so you’ve made my morning with the video… i never thought i, a rabid star wars fan would EVER see Darth dancing to thriller… HEHEHE!! this may even beat out the drunk, gay borg sent to San Fran to scout…hmm… yes.. probably.

    Productive? Pray tell what is the meaning of this peculiarity?! With a ten month old baby and a husband that can’t manage to get his dirty clothes in a hamper three feet away from him, I get nothing done…or more appropriately I find myself re-doing the same smeck over and over…

    But enough of that!
