Dear Ms. Lilith,

I have enjoyed your workd for sometime. I was surprised to see your blog on the TrueBlood/HBO site, but it mades an odd sort of sense.

I have been a member of Ursa Major SCiFi for about 30 yrs or so, and since most of this club, and most attendees at Armadillocon are unpublished writers, if it’s alright with you and your friend, I will make a point of mentioning this submission invitation to the folks I think might write well in that genre.

I am sorry to see that you won’t be a guest at DragonCon this year, but perhaps I will get to see a panel in the future. Sincerely,

By YA do you mean Ms. Telep is only accepting submissions for Young Adult books? I’m attempting to write a novel, but I think it would fall more in the Urban fantasy category rather than YA so then this would not be acceptable as a submission? Sorry, I’m new at this whole writing thing and I’m a bit confused as to how it all works.

Too bad. I have a friend and fantastic writer searching for an agent now. She has this great paranormal thriller–but she’s multi-pubbed in ebooks.

It’s been a steady 106 & 107 and humid here. I HATE this time of year.

Well, if it can comfort you Lili, think about this: you have 90F, here (here being somewhere-near-Venice, Italy) we’ve been having 96-97F with 90% humidity for the past 8 days… *pant* Since yesterday, Alaska has started looking more and more appealing… O_o
