Selene Is Now Live!
Psst! Wanna read a free serial novel?
Readers of the Dante Valentine series will remember their favorite Nichtvren duo, Selene and Nikolai. Plenty of you wrote in wanting to know more about them. Well, back when I was writing for AnotherChapter.com, I did write a book about the deadly duo, illustrated by the awesome Andrzej Karwacki.
And now, ladies and gentlemen, Orbit and I are offering the book for free in serial form. Chapters will be posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And did I mention it’s free?
Selene
Life isn’t easy for a sexwitch. Even your own body betrays you. It’s bad enough that Selene is part slave to Nikolai, the Prime Power of Saint City, but she’s got her brother Danny and she’s got her job at the college. In the postwar wreckage of an uncertain world, it’s pretty much all she’s ever allowed herself to want.
Then Danny ends up murdered, and Selene finds herself a pawn in a dangerous game. Indentured to a bloodsucking Nichtvren and helpless, told to stop trying to uncover the identity of her brother’s killer, Selene has nowhere to turn. If she’s a good girl, Nikolai will leave her a little bit of freedom. He’ll take care of her, and she’ll be safe–if she obeys.
But Selene hasn’t survived this long by being obedient to her cursed powers, or to the men who buy her time. Her brother was all she had, and now she’s ready to borrow, beg, lie, steal or kill–whatever it takes to avenge him.
And if Nikolai gets in the way, Selene will use every tool in her arsenal to make him regret it…

I already love it!!
The upside is that getting only a chapter every 2 days, even the worst book-junkies (like me, ahem) can’t “burn” the novel in a matter of hours.

Ohhh please tell me that Selene will have her own book series….I love her and Nik already
I loved the short story that I read this past summer and would love to read their books….pls pls tell us you are writing their series and if so, that their books will be coming out soon!!!

Hey april, the series is already out, it’s a free serial, so Lili will post it on her website. The prologue and chapter one are already up and working.

I think what I mean is her putting it out in print-like her Saint City where its all together in a book ……..DONT get me wrong, I love where I can read it cuz I love Selene and Nik but I would love to gobble the whole story down in one sitting…am I making sense? Sorry I have been sick the past couple days and the cold medicine is making me loopy. I just would love to have the book on hand where I can go back and read it all if I wanted to……..Im like a junkie who is craving more of this fabulous story

Oh, my bad, I had misunderstood.
However, being a book-junkie myself, I have to admit that a serial has its strong points: like, it’ll last more than a handful of hours. ^^ Even though I find myself checking the site compulsively to see if the new chapter is already out…obsessive-compulsive, who? Me? *grin*

a great start…. and I am starting to have some trouble on which of the 2 gorgeous ‘men’ I prefer… Japh or Nick… and then there is Tiens… oh well.. we’ll see how it goes.
I love the serial book… gods know my bokkcase soon will have no more space and my credits are getting lower by the month while I order books… Book-addict…. Who Me?
