Hunter’s Prayer
I think–now I’m not absolutely sure, but I think Barnes & Noble is shipping Hunter’s Prayer now. It’s odd, but usually Amazon is the first to start shipping.
If you can verify whether or not BN’s shipping the book, can you let me know? I’m just curious.
Yeah. Nail-biting curious. That’s all. I’m not, you know, ATTACHED to knowing or anything. Course not. Me? No way.

ETA: My local indie bookstore tells me the distributor’s got it. They also say that they’ll be happy to mail signed copies for cover cost plus reasonable postage. This is the bookstore I volunteer at, so they can have me in to personalize books too, if you’ve got a hankerin’. Come to think of it, they stock pretty much all my books except for the Anna Beguines; so you can probably get a signed copy of just about all my books.

Ok, now you’ve gone and made me cry…my internet bookstore NEVER has anything early, NEVER. And now you tell me B&N is shipping Hunter’s Prayer right now. If you’ll all excuse me, I think I’ll go and wail in the corner, thanks… T_T

I bought this Saturday at BAMM (Books a Million) in Viriginia.

It is 3:50 pm, Sunday 8/17/08, and I just got off the phone with B & N at Lloyd Center. They DO NOT have it yet. “It’s due out 8/26/08″, was their comment.
If someone else has it now, it isn’t B & N, nor is it Powell’s. Powell’s says it is their distribution point in Roseburg.
I guess we’ll still have to wait a few more days.

Barnes and Noble is shipping it. I ordered it last Monday and got my copy on Friday. Very much enjoyed it!
Of course now they are showing Steelflower as being in stock which makes me happy all over again. Nothing perks up my day like finding a book out early.

I bought it at borders on saturday the 16th. I am sitting next to it right now. Looking forward to cracking it open right after I finish Nightwalker.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention! I always order through Amazon since they seem to have books earlier than BN so I didn’t even check their site. But, thanks to your heads-up, I just ordered Hunter’s Prayer and Steelflower right now through the BN website and I should have it some time this week.

Just got it tonight from Borders… wish it was the weekend so I could dive into it… oh who am I kidding, there’s no way I won’t at least START it tonight!

I have a couple more weeks to wait i think for it to hit the shelves in the UK, but a few days before it’s due I shall start harrassing the poor guy at Waterstones who should be used to me by now.
