Happy May Day!

It’s Beltane, and a full moon, and tonight I am bound out to Beaverton for the Star Wars thingie (by thingie I mean 30th Anniversary Celebration.) A local division of the 501st (Vader’s Fist) will be there, and I look forward to much fun. With Saint Peter, Timothy Zahn, and Steve Perry in the house, I have no doubt there will be fun AND mischief. *wink*

Before that, though, it’s a little bit of baking to welcome in the season of growth and fertility. Which will only be intellectual and career-based, since physical fertility has gone the way of the dodo for me personally. Three kids (one of them I didn’t even bear) are enough.

In other news, you can find me in the May issue of Romantic Times (in the Urban Fantasy article and the writer’s advice corner.) Plus, (trumpets please!) Working for the Devil won Best Modern-Day Fantasy Novel in the Romantic Times 2006 Reviewers’ Choice Awards. I am pleased and proud as punch. I almost did a Sally Fields “You LIKE me! You really LIKE me!” when I found out. *beams in every direction* Thank you, very much–and thanks to my wonderful Readers, without which none of this would be possible.

Off I go to celebrate May Day. And I hope you have a happy and productive Beltane, dear Readers.
