We Love You, Mr. Rosewater

Oh, CRUD. Kurt Vonnegut has passed on.

Anyone who Gore Vidal is reduced to saying “he was sort of not like anyone else” about has made an indelible impression. Plus he gave good writing advice. Dammit, why do the good ones have to go at all?

I know, I know. It is the Way Of Things. But still…it SUCKS.

Godspeed, Sir Vonnegut. Wherever you are treading now, I hope there is laughter. And cigarettes.
