Thank You
First of all, thanks to my lovely Reader Jane Hong, who send me a beautiful handwritten Noel card and some handmade pewter-glass-silver beaded bookmarks. (Bookmarks are the gift that keeps on giving as far as I’m concerned.) Thank you, Jane!
And also thanks to Reader Anne S. Schjervin, who sent me one of the most wonderful, touching, and beautiful fan letters I’ve ever received. I plan on printing it out and hanging it up next to my desk, and looking at it whenever I feel down. Thank you, Anne!
A great-big thank you to Reader Chere Gruver, for enclosing SASEs. *grin* You’re a peach.
Much thanks goes to Ambrose and Drosdelnach as well as Milady Insanity and the moderators crew over at the Street Fair, for keeping things shaking and sane at the same time over there.
More thanks go to Jeff Davis and his lovely wife, who invited me to dinner last night and stuffed me with pineapple-peanut-curry chicken and good conversation. That was a lovely close to a very stressful weekend.
As long as I’m giving thanks, I should also thank the DHM for tidying the kitchen (we can see counter space now! woot!), the Sullen Teen for folding a mountain of laundry, and the Princess for tidying her room and just generally being helpful. The Little Prince is unclear on the general concept of cleaning, but he does try to help.
I feel very lucky this morning, as I sip my coffee and think about all I have to be thankful for.
