It is strangely good to know that a person who produces such amazing books doesn't do it every time. I know that sounds awful, but it's helpful to know that at the end of the day, when I'm looking back over my work and realize all my dialogue fell flat and my characters turned into marionettes, that it happens to everyone and doesn't mean I'm doomed to fail continually.
