I hang around in several different writer&#039;s circles and I know a lot of e-published authors. I see a lot of the &quot;promo whoring&quot; going on -- and honestly, I agree. There&#039;s a lot of writers who, on the Net, won&#039;t participate in discussions except to talk about their book or else just to blatantly self-promote. Really, I&#039;m more likely to spend my money on a book by someone I &quot;know&quot; and like than Plain Jane PromoWhore.

Though, I have to say I can&#039;t imagine wanting to go on and on and on about my book on a panel... but then, I&#039;m the sorta person who gets involved in a dialogue about whatever and Will Not Shut Up. Lol.</description>
